"Sara Blake is a New York City-based illustrator who combines traditional hand-drawn work with digital painting. She likes to surprise herself with her drawing, be it serendipitous flukes or inevitable mistakes, and typically describes her art as freestyle. In additional to commercial clients such as Hurley, Marc Jacobs, The Sak, The KDU, and TED, she is also an exhibiting fine artist with her first solo gallery show in Sydney at the Friends of Leon Gallery last September. Her work is inspired by fashion, nature, music, and creative writing."
