Halifax Pop Explosion

Last week I found myself on another adventure in Halifax, Nova Scotia to speak at the HPX Digital Conference, a 2 pronged festival that also brings hundreds of amazing bands to the quiet town. Halifax is an amazingly mellow town on the water with great local beer, artisans, seafood, and of course people—did I mention it's the hometown of my buddy James White? Trip highlights include, in no particular order, lobsters with Irene & Anton, Jason, James, and Shawn, seeing Dusted & The Walkmen, the weekend farmers market on the harbor, solitary exploring with hot coffee, presentations by some of my favs, including a talk by Myron Campbell which I'd never seen before and totally loved, and also a day locked in my hotel room redoing my talk on scraps of paper on the floor.
