I've finally wrapped up a very special project that has taken me far, far too long to complete. I think this project marked the highpoint of fear of failure in my career, and consequently, procrastination. But the end has come, I'm stepping back, and ultimately feeling good. This is the portrait of John Lamensdorf, a young NYU grad who died tragically this year. This image will be reproduced for Tshirts to help raise money for John's memorial fund. Thank you to Jennie and Kathy Lamensdorf, two very strong women. Final piece: pencil and digital. Previous experiments and exercises for this projects can be found here.
Now, home to Virginia.
Tell someone you love them. Happy holidays,
