NYC Marathon Eve

I've dodged the Halloween insanity (and drunkeness) with a legitimate excuse to stay safely tucked in: marathon day is tomorrow. I'd like to extend a huge thank you to friends and family who have made this possible. Merely picking up my race number and chip was an emotional experience—so tomorrow is bound to be nothing less than extroadinary and life defining. I am officially running for Team For Kids charity, but I am unofficially running in honor of the Lamensdorf family who lost a son and brother, John Lamensdorf earlier this year. John died in pursuit of his artistic passion. John's work-in-progress portrait is pictured below which will be available later this winter on shirts for his memorial fund.
